I have a lenovo netbook and an acer pc both running on XP SP3. I tried creating a home network, but I cannot access shared files on my netbook with the desktop. Yet everything works fine on the netbook. Any ideas on what went wrong? TIA
Can you see the shared folder if you do "start", "run" and fill in "\\ip-address of netbook"? Or is it that you see the folder but have unsufficient rights on that folder?
